FEES
Fees are payable for every day that accommodation is booked. Fees will still be charged for animals arriving late or leaving early. Changes to a booking must be made at least 14 days prior to the arrival date otherwise all days booked will have to be paid in full.
BOOKING FEE
A non-refundable booking fee of £20 is required to secure a booking. If you cancel your booking within a 7 day cooling off period I will refund the booking fee. If the total cost of boarding is less than £20 payment will be requested in full. Payment of the booking fee is due within 7 days. Non payment of the booking fee will result in cancellation of the booking.
Why is the booking fee non-refundable? The booking fee is a commitment from both parties to secure the accommodation on the dates you require. We cannot always fill space after a cancellation even in peak season which can be a significant loss of income to a small business like ours. The accommodation is booked for your pets for those dates.
MINIMUM STAY
Minimum stay is 3 nights between the dates of 1st October - 30th June
Minimum stay is 5 nights between the dates of 1st July - 30th September
Why 3/5 nights? Cleaning and disinfecting the accommodation before and after the pets stay is time consuming, we may also need to buy in fresh food or specialist bedding for your pet. So for example a 1 night stay for a single guinea pig at £6.50 is just not cost effective given the time taken to prepare for the stay. Where a stay is requested for less than 3/5 nights a surcharge will be added equal to the 3/5 night stay.
WINTER HEATING SURCHARGE
Between 1 November and 31 March each year there will be an additional £1.00 per night surcharge applied to cover the increasing costs of household utilities.
CANCELLATIONS & NO SHOWS
Should you no longer require boarding for your pet/s we require a minimum 7 days notice to cancel the booking. This will hopefully give us enough time to advertise the cancellation and potentially fill the vacant accommodation. The booking fee is non-refundable, but we may be able to transfer it to a future booking at our discretion.
If you cancel with less than 7 days notice or do not show up for drop off you will be invoiced for the full amount outstanding on the booking. Failure to pay may result in legal action being taken to recover the loss of earnings.
CANCELLATIONS & LAPSED VACCINES
Should a customer arrive on the day of boarding with insufficient or lapsed vaccinations and I have to refuse boarding the customer will be charged the full balance of the boarding fee.
If a customer contacts me less than 14 days prior to boarding and advises me that the rabbits vaccinations are not in place I will charge the full outstanding balance of the boarding fee.
VACCINATIONS (RABBITS) & HEALTH
ALL rabbits booked in for boarding must provide proof of vaccination, certificates showing dates of current and previous Nobivac and/or Filavac/Eravac vaccines. Boosters must be given every 12 months for Nobivac Myxo RHD PLUS or Nobivac Myxo RHD, Filavac and Eravac.
As most vets are now vaccinating with Nobivac Myxo RHD PLUS please allow 21 days between the vaccine and the start of boarding for immunity to build up. Previously vaccinated rabbits should have been transitioned correctly to the new Nobivac Myxo RHD PLUS vaccine following the MSD switching guidelines.
The owner must confirm that to the best of their knowledge they have declared all known health issues to Ingleby Bunny Boarding (IBB) however should their pet become ill whilst in their care, they authorise IBB to transport the animal to a vet and approve any required emergency treatment. The owner agrees to reimburse IBB for any additional costs incurred when they collect their pet. Please note our insurance policy does not cover us for pre-existing conditions. Planned surgery for neutering, dentals etc must be carried out a minimum of 14 days prior to boarding and the pet given a health check from the vet to ensure there are no post operative complications.
In the unlikely event that your pet passes away whilst in our care we will contact you immediately and follow your wishes. If we cannot contact you your pet will be cremated at a location of our choice and the fees added to your invoice.
If we notice that your pet has fleas/mites there will be an additional charge to cover the cost of Ivermectin treatment.
IBB do reserve the right to refuse animals should they appear to be in poor health on arrival e.g. runny eyes, nose or dirty bottoms as we do not want to risk any other animal’s health by accepting a sick animal into boarding.
ABANDONMENT
Should you fail to return to collect your pet and we are unable to contact either you or your emergency contact within 7 working days we will seek to re-home your pet and invoice you for any costs incurred in this process.
Animals are boarded at the sole risk of the owner and while every care will be taken we shall not be liable for the loss, illness, injury or death of any animal in our care.

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.
When you contact us via our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.
Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
We may contact you to notify you regarding your booking, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.
